SECURING YOUR HOME AND PEACE OF MIND
Hertfordshire is recognised as one of the safest
counties in England. However, for many people it is the ’fear of crime’ and
perception of crime that can be just as damaging as being a victim.
It can prevent individuals, in particular vulnerable and minority groups,
from leading a full and active life in their community.
The countywide Home Security Service aims to address
and combat these issues by providing a home security service, free
of charge to those
who qualify. This service can range from the fitting of security measures – such
as locks, door chains, spyholes and smoke detectors – to providing
expert advice on how to stay safe and secure in your home.
