Graffiti

Responsibility for Graffiti removal will ordinarily lie with either the council, the owner of the building/bridge/ or the particular piece of street furniture.

Anyone who wants to report graffiti, flyposting or any environmental issues that are blighting our environment can call the Cleaner District hotline on 0845 125 8000 or email details and photos to a.cleanerdistrict@stalbans.gov.uk

If you wish to report details of a graffiti offence (i.e. information about the perpetrators) then contact the Police on 01727 796000 and ask for the Control Room.

St Albans City & District Council may assume responsibility for removing graffiti/ fly posting from private property when it is in the public interest to do so.
